If a instrument has an indication and recording function, the functional letter code for the instrument tag is marked with only the letter “R”, and not the letter “I”. Is this true or false? I’m preparing for an exam, so I’m not sure**. On Baidu online, some say it’s correct while others say it’s incorrect. I’d like to ask if there are any relevant guidelines?
It was an old-fashioned method of control, display, and recording; it was called Type 2 or Type 2.5. For the data that needed to be recorded, a separate recorder had to be used (with graph paper for recording), and at that time I and R were different values. Now it’s all DCS; all parameters are displayed as well as having their trend records, and the R symbols are no longer visible.
