May I ask, if any of the solenoid valves here gets stuck, will it prevent this control valve from closing? Thank you

Based on engineering experience, there are generally two types of redundant design: in parallel redundancy, if one solenoid valve fails, the other can still maintain the control valve in its proper state. With series redundancy, however, the situation you described – where the valve cannot be closed – may occur. It is recommended to check the structural drawings of the valve body, paying special attention to the descriptions of possible failure modes. However, it ultimately depends on the FMEA analysis of your equipment; for safety-related issues, it’s best to consult the original manufacturer’s technical team.
