I now want to measure the temperature inside a reactor that is 5 meters long; 10 measurement points are required. The diameter of the protective tube is 8 mm. Do any of you have any practical experience with similar applications?
A blade-type thermocouple will do; it is also known as a surface thermocouple

Are you referring to the average thermometer? When using a thermal resistor, it’s basically not used to measure reactors; rather, it’s used for storage tanks. The best foreign brands are something like Ralph or Mary; as for the best domestic brands, I won’t mention them here as they’re not worth recommending. Generally from 5 to 16. I think what LZ is referring to are multiple thermocouples, the flexible kind.

If you need to measure the temperature at different levels, an armored multipoint thermometer is suitable; if it’s about different heights, you’ll need to explain exactly what situation you’re dealing with
