Communication using the HART handheld device also shows no abnormalities
Are you saying the LCD screen is not displaying correctly? There are 6 situations displayed on the LCD. You can hold down the ECS key and then use UP or DOWN to scroll up or down. Could you provide more details about the issue?
The LCD screen is fine, but the main controller is faulty, showing dead pixels
Check the feedback current of the locator on-site. If there is no current feedback, it indicates that the feedback module of the positioner is damaged. If the feedback current at the site is normal, then go to the DCS room to check whether the feedback current is normal as well; if it is not normal, there is a problem with the wiring, while if it is normal, it indicates a fault in the channel.
Is the controller malfunctioning? What is a master controller? I’m sorry, but I’m not aware of it
Two-wire system; feedback is achieved through HART communication
Did you measure the circuit current with a multimeter? Is it normal? If it’s working fine, then it’s a problem with your software or the configuration
With the Hart communication system, there is a display when connected to the Hart handheld controller; it used to show normal readings, but suddenly it stopped working properly
If this parameter was working fine before and has become abnormal without any changes, it might be a problem with the I/O channel; try using another channel and check whether the displayed value is normal based on the current value
Even after replacing the card, it still doesn’t work properly; only this type of locator suffers from such problems. Once an ABB locator is used, there are no issues
