I checked our DCS supplier’s units – there are two grounding strips inside the cabinet; one is connected to the cabinet body via screws, while the other is connected to it in an insulated manner. The manufacturer said that the insulated one serves as the working ground. Why is that?

The system, also known as the working area, must be insulated and separated from the safe or shielded areas, but it still needs to be connected together to the main busbar.
