The Fisher locator cannot self-tune

The new Fisher valves we installed here receive a 100% command in the DCS, but on-site they can only be opened to 90%. Later, the self-tuning of the locator failed. Has any colleague encountered a similar problem? Why can’t self-tuning be completed? Some people suggest that there might be an issue with the installation of the feedback copy, but this is a new valve, so that shouldn’t be the case.
Check the valve opening indication scale to ensure that when the actual valve opening is at 50%, the feedback rod should be horizontal. If not, adjust the locator and re-tune it after meeting this condition; there should be no problem. I hope this helps.
The manual provides detailed adjustment instructions; refer to them for operation. At 50%, it is crucial that the return rod be perpendicular to the valve stem.
If the tuning fails, there will be a reason indicated; check what that reason is. It is recommended to calibrate the travel sensor
