The shielding layer of the fieldbus cable must be grounded at both ends. 2. The shielding layer of the communication cable between systems should be grounded at both ends, and capacitively grounded at one end as well. I asked a DCS system supplier, and they said they were not aware of point 2; the traditional method of grounding should be used, that is, single-ended grounding of the shielding layer.
