I’m new to instrumentation; there is a flow meter at the work site that has RS485 communication capabilities (MODBUS_RTU communication protocol)； The boss requested that the main control room, located further away, be able to read and display the \"instantaneous flow rate\" and \"cumulative flow rate\" via RS485 communication lines. But there are no computers in the control room, and I don’t know what instruments can be used to achieve this in a simple and cost-effective way.
