Inhalation of propylene by humans can cause loss of consciousness; it is harmful to the environment and can pollute water bodies, soil, and the atmosphere. Mixing with air can form an explosive mixture. There is a risk of combustion and explosion in the presence of heat sources and open flames. It reacts violently with nitrogen dioxide, dinitrogen tetroxide, nitrous oxide, etc., and undergoes intense reactions upon contact with other oxidizing agents. Gases are heavier than air and can spread over considerable distances at lower levels; they will catch fire and ignite when exposed to a source of flame. Advantages of external-mounted level gauges for measuring propylene spheres: 1. Temperature calibration – Propylene is a medium whose density changes significantly due to temperature, which in turn affects its sound speed in real time. When the liquid level is below the position of the side calibration probe, this probe is unable to perform proper calibration; in such cases, the level gauge automatically activates temperature calibration, using temperature to carry out real-time adjustments and thereby improving measurement accuracy. This feature solves the challenges associated with measuring spherical tanks and significantly improves accuracy. 2. Two-wire technology with ultra-low power consumption; it meets the standards for two-wire instruments used in industrial environments, simplifies wiring requirements on site, and enhances safety and explosion protection. At the same time, it saves on the costs of power cables as well as the labor required for their installation, demonstrating good economic efficiency. 3. External-mounted level gauges can achieve a very small blind zone in propylene spheres (the blind zone is 2 times the thickness of the tank wall, usually less than 20 mm). 4. Installation and commissioning are greatly simplified; the level gauge is highly intelligent, which significantly reduces the workload associated with on-site installation and commissioning, enabling easy installation.
