I would like to ask the experts here: I am currently working on drawing a PID diagram, and due to my lack of experience, I would like to know 1. how to represent local pressure gauges and pressure transmitters? Pressure gauge PG, pressure transmitter PI? 2. How should a differential pressure transmitter that is not connected to the DCS and one that needs to transmit its signals to the DCS be represented? DPI and DPT?

The notation for a differential pressure transmitter that does not feed data into the DCS is DPT, with a circle drawn around it. When a differential pressure transmitter needs to transmit data to the DCS, it is denoted as DPI, with a circle drawn around it and a horizontal line inside dividing the circle into two halves; the text DPI is written on one of these halves, while the tag number is written below. An additional square frame is placed outside the circle. It’s best to take a look at the specific drawing methods; if you work in design and create such flowcharts on a regular basis, you must first thoroughly understand the standards mentioned above
It is recommended to study HG/T 20505-2014 on the functional indicators and graphic symbols for process measurement and control instruments – this way you won’t be afraid of what to draw

Actually, different design institutes use different methods; I have studied the flowcharts of two design institutes, and their representation methods are different! If Loulou works in a design institute, then he should follow the standards set there. As for someone like me who is just doing manual labor, I just learn how others draw it!
The differential pressure should be PDI and PDT, right? The others agree with you.
Different schools have different drawing methods; it’s best to indicate those that are considered unreliable on the cover page illustration
