　　According to Sinochem New Network, recently three American companies—CF Industries, Torque, and TFG Marine—signed a memorandum of understanding to work together on promoting the use of low-carbon ammonia as a marine fuel, thereby supporting emission reductions in the global shipping industry. 　　This partnership will build on the existing cooperation between CF Industries and Toko in the area of low-carbon ammonia transportation, with a further focus on market development, stakeholder engagement, and refueling logistics planning; the initial focus areas will be the Gulf Coast of the United States and northwestern Europe. 　　Under the agreement, CF Industries will utilize its low-ammonia production capacity and export facilities located at its plant in Donaldsonville, Louisiana; Toko will provide expertise in commodity logistics and market development; while TFG Marine, a joint venture between Toko, Frontline Shipping, and Kim Ocean Group, will leverage its global ship fuel supply network and experience in refueling services to coordinate ammonia fuel refueling needs and develop \"last-mile\" transportation solutions for refueling centers around the world. 　　The three parties stated that this collaboration brings together the key capabilities across the entire value chain of low-carbon ammonia, from production and logistics to refueling, with the aim of establishing a stable supply chain to assist shipping operators in achieving the commercial use of ammonia fuel, thereby promoting the energy transition in the maritime industry. Low-carbon ammonia is considered one of the important potential fuels for achieving a decarbonized shipping sector.
