There are two electric doors at the site. When operated locally, they open or close, then stop after a few seconds; attempting to operate them again also results in them stopping after a few seconds. I’m not understanding this – please provide some guidance.

Has the valve developed problems such as sticking, which has resulted in excessive torque on the motor shaft and triggered the electrical thermal protection or overcurrent protection?~~
The on-site momentary operation shown on your LED screen – go to the system menu and check if there is an option similar to hold. If it’s not this issue, try increasing the torque. With limited capabilities, I can only think of these two possible reasons.

Check the manual for the electric actuator and analyze it in comparison with the actual menu settings
The intelligent electric valve will display the cause of the fault; check it. Note that in the event of a power outage for the intelligent electric valve (Rotork), if the battery is depleted, the existing configuration will be lost and reconfiguration will be required. But from your description, it seems to be the motor’s overheat protection.
Well, from a simple perspective, could it be that this electric head is the type that snaps back automatically once it’s turned on, and needs to be held down by hand to remain in the on position? :lol
