It’s not really about being pedantic; it’s just that I can’t stop worrying about it. As a standard, care and precision are required; on a minor scale, such things can be considered unimportant ； On a larger scale, it’s the same thing; with different standards that don’t even have a unified name, what can possibly be accomplished? Vibration resistance generally refers to normal vibrations. Seismicity specifically refers to earthquakes, right! That’s how I understand it
