Issues with EJA pressure transmitters using the HART protocol

This post was last edited by warewood on 2017-6-28 at 10:09. I have two EJA pressure transmitters with a range of 0–1.6 MPa, and their communication protocol is HART. Verification involves calibrating its measurement points step by step. After calibration at 1.6 MPa, the pressure transducer shows no reading at any pressure within the range, and the feedback current remains constant at 4 mA. Moreover, the pressure transducer shows no alarm or fault indications; it simply displays zero. Attempting to reset it, calibrate it, or restore it to its factory settings has no effect at all. I’m asking everyone, what should we do? Is there any possibility of recovery? The actual applied pressure is close to 1.5 MPa, and the feedback shows that neither the current nor the pressure changes at all

I wasn’t on site during the verification; the pressure is applied using the handwheel on that testing bench, and a slightly higher pressure can reach around 1.9 MPa. I really don’t know whether that could damage the pressure-bearing module

Values of 0, 0.4, 0.8, and 1.2 were all fine, but problems arose at 1.6 MPa. I doubt whether Chuan Instrument has run out of stock, especially for those using the HART protocol.

Take a look at what’s displayed on the instrument itself; that’s the actual scene

Are const things useful?
