Liquid level PID control is required for an intermediate tank; what type of level gauge would be suitable? I have considered that the output signal of a magnetic flap level gauge is not a continuous signal, and I’m not sure whether PID control is possible. Those with experience, please share your insights. Thank you!

The medium temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, corrosivity, crystallization status, installation location, etc., of the intermediate tank need to be specified; otherwise, it will be a random choice.

What was said on floors 3 and 4 is correct. Only by knowing the physical and chemical properties of the medium as well as the operating conditions can a level gauge and control valve be selected.
