I have a question: For example, if there are multiple pressure transmitters and pressure gauges installed on a distillation tower, is it possible to install a standard gauge on the tower during calibration? By applying pressure to the entire tower, the other pressure transmitters and gauges can be calibrated by comparing their readings with those of the standard gauge
It definitely doesn’t meet the standards, and a metrology verification agency wouldn’t approve such action either:D
That’s a good idea, but I’m not sure if there are any specific requirements regarding the pressure reduction; distillation towers generally operate under negative pressure. Ask if it’s possible; I’d like to learn it too
You can directly consult a metrology and calibration agency to see if they’re willing to handle it. Generally, official organizations won’t do this. However, nowadays many authorized private entities might be willing to take on such tasks
