In the nitration of toluene, ***toluene tar is obtained after separation; it has a density of 1.16 and relatively high viscosity at room temperature. It is planned to burn this material in an incinerator, and I am looking for a flow meter with a flow rate of around 1.5 cubic meters per hour. The instrumentation technician recommended an vortex flow meter, but I’m concerned that it may not be suitable. I hope experts can help me choose the right one.
Vortex flow meters might not work; you could try electric target or volume-type meters instead

I really have never used those two forms you mentioned.
How effective is it with other manufacturers’ products? Will it become inaccurate over time, or will the error be quite large?

High viscosity is not suitable for use with vortex flowmeters, as it reduces the measurement accuracy compared to fluids with lower viscosity. The conductivity of organic substances may be low, in which case electromagnetic flowmeters may not be suitable. If the properties of the fluid (mainly density and viscosity) do not vary much, target flowmeters can be used; moreover, if the material is unlikely to deposit or form clumps, volumetric flowmeters can be an option.
If the budget permits, a scraper gauge (positive-displacement type) can be used
