Have you come into contact with a dual-loop flow ratio control system? What type is generally better for selecting primary instruments for master-slave flow measurement? What should be noted when the system is put into operation? What is the effect of using dual closed-loop ratio control for flow?
I’ve seen reaction vessels in which several different materials are added to them, and these materials need to be mixed in precise proportions; therefore, Emerson’s mass flow meters are used as flow meters. The two control loops were first operated manually each, and only after stabilization were they switched to automatic mode; however, the automatic mode for ratio control was not activated. The DCS can display the ratio of master to slave materials, and process engineers use this information to adjust the setpoints of the control loops in order to achieve the desired ratio.
