I know the total number of points in the DCS system, as well as the percentages for AI, AO, DI, DO, and redundancy. I’m wondering how to calculate the number of cards required for each component. If anyone has information on this, please let me know; I’m a beginner in DCS systems. I want to learn * it a bit.
First, check what system you are using, as different systems have different numbers of card slots. After determining the channels for each card, reserve one or two additional channels for each of them; in total, this amounts to 10% to 20% of extra channels.
It’s best to use a straightforward method and verify each one individually; DCS doesn’t allow for approximations – verification is necessary
It’s a JX300XP system; before it was equipped with an XP313, and now it has been replaced with an XP351. It seems that there are many fewer card components now compared to before. There used to be XP362(B) and XP363(B) as well, but those are no longer available
