The factory has installed a new circulating cooling system; both the pump and the pneumatic control valves are mounted on the same pipeline. Both the pneumatic valves and the pump are interlocked with the material flow, and it is possible for the pump to keep running even when the pneumatic valves are set at 99% open. What solutions are available?
Should the control valve be installed before or after the pump? What are the roles of control valves and pumps in the cooling system respectively?
The control valve is installed after the pump, and both the control valve and the pump are thermally interlocked with the material. When the material temperature exceeds the set value, the control valve opens first, followed by the activation of the pump to cool the material. Once the material reaches the set temperature, close the control valve and the pump.
Are you saying that after the valve has been set to closed, there is a delay in its status? Has the valve not arrived yet? Should the valve still be under automatic control, with the pump and the valve linked together so that the pump stops when the temperature reaches the desired level, but the valve doesn’t close? Or what other situation? Please explain in detail.
The process description is unclear; the interlock sequence should be to open the valve before starting the pump, and to close the valve after stopping the pump
