Currently, there is a situation where I need to transfer various solvent materials from Plant 1 and Plant 2 to Plant 3. The distance between these two plants is 2000 meters. What considerations are necessary regarding instrument control? Has anyone developed an automated control scheme for this purpose? I would appreciate it if you could share it

It’s the liquid level interlock. Via communication lines (wired or wireless) or hardwiring. Control can be set independently or connected to respective control systems separately
It may be necessary to pay attention to the transfer of excess material, that is, whether the material in the pipeline can be stored when the downstream tank is nearly full. It should be fine to pre-calculate the margin. There is also the empty tank interlock at the delivery end. The pump also stops when there is no material in the tank.
