Which type is recommended for level gauges in spherical storage tanks? Servo, differential pressure, radar, external measurement, or others – how many are generally needed? Which one is better for entering the SIS system? Could you please recommend some good manufacturers or brands of high and low level alarms?
Small-scale farming economy, self-sale of assets, special forces with small firearms, crossing the ocean,
External measurement options can also be considered, especially for highly toxic media; they also come with SIL certification
For spherical tanks, servo drives are generally chosen as they offer higher precision. It can be combined with differential pressure and radar to achieve dual-level measurement, in an external installation? Ultrasonic waves? It is not recommended to use this
For radars, both the external type and others are not very stable; the measurement results of the two differ significantly, and it’s unclear which one is accurate.
The measurement results vary greatly; alignment can be done using local magnetic flip switches, as long as the readings are accurate and the linearity is good
We are preparing to install a set of servos; differential pressure and radar sensors are also under consideration, with the main considerations being measurement accuracy and ease of maintenance
Differential pressure, servo, radar – all are possible
For servo and differential pressure types, radar is not recommended; radar level gauges tend to experience fluctuations at low liquid levels
