The existing vortex flowmeter provides inaccurate readings due to the large pipe diameter of 12 inches; only 150 tons of steam pass through it per month, and the flow velocity is unstable. {:3_49:} I’m looking for recommendations for more reliable flowmeters. .
For large pipe diameters, a Veritas flow meter can be considered.
Your pipeline is also far too large; with an average flow rate of only 200 kg per hour, the range of flow meters available for use is very limited. Intermittent airflow or continuous airflow? If you use gas intermittently, water condensation will definitely occur in your system.
With such a small amount, it’s not a vortex street issue; you simply have a necking.
