How to set up a pressure alarm

This post was last edited by 582734452 on 2017-9-10 09:19. For an ammonia buffer tank, it is necessary to set an alarm when the pressure drops below 0.25 Mpa. The configuration software used is WinCC, and the PLC model is 300. I’m a beginner seeking help.
Use FC105 in STEP 7 to convert it to your range value, and then it can be stored in the MD memory. Create communication variables corresponding to MD in WINCC, and set analog alarms in the alarm manager.
It seems pretty complicated; as a beginner, I find it hard to understand.
One needs to watch some videos online for this; it’s the simplest function. The key is to learn how to set up the entire system properly and ensure proper communication – it’s not enough to just know these basic aspects.
If that doesn’t work, use a faster method, CMP; trigger an alarm when IN is less than 0.25, and store the output in a register. WINCC can then be connected to that register address – it’s simpler that way
