About the Emerson mass flow meter brand

The three major brands of mass flowmeters are Emerson Elite, German E+H, and German KSS. I’m not sure if this is correct; the branding for Emerson Elite is Em Emerson Elite, right? But Emerson also has another brand called Rosemount. Are these two different models or do they belong to separate subsidiaries? I’ve seen Rosemount products, but I don’t think I’ve seen any products from Emerson Elite. Those who know can please clarify this for me
Highland and Rosemount are two brands under Emerson. The Rosemount brand products mainly include those for measuring temperature, pressure, liquid level, material level, tank volume, and for nuclear applications; it also includes flow meters, with flow measurement being primarily done via differential pressure methods, such as those using barometers, orifice plates, as well as electromagnetic and vortex flow meters. Actually, the Yokogawa mass flowmeters are quite good too; I heard that their technology comes from Emerson
The Coriolis mass flow meter, also known as the Coriolis force mass flow meter, was based on a principle discovered by a foreigner whose surname is Coriolis. Gaon Precision specializes in mass flowmeters, offering several series; it was later acquired by Emerson and became one of its subsidiaries. Among those with a leading market share in the domestic market are Emerson, E+H, Claron, ABB, Siemens, OVAL, and others. Technically speaking, the only company that can compete with Emerson is Japan’s OVAL. Because the two of them have been working together on OEM projects in Japan for 20 years, OVAL has mastered the essence of High Precision!
Yokogawa in Japan did not have its own mass flow meter technology, so it later acquired a small German company to develop it. Therefore, the nameplate on the Yokogawa mass flow meter indicates that it is manufactured in Germany, not Japan; hence, it cannot be based on American technology. It is likely Japan’s OVAL that has truly mastered the core technology of American Coriolis meter manufacturers, as it collaborated with them in Japan through OEM arrangements for 20 years in the 1980s. After that period, OVAL developed its own mass flow meters, and by leveraging Japan’s manufacturing capabilities, it became the leader in many markets.
