Do storage tanks equipped with spraying devices, similar to liquid ammonia tanks, need to be connected to an SIS system to enable emergency spraying?
There is no need to enter the SIS. Sprinkler systems fall under the scope of fire protection management, not instrumentation management; therefore, the interlocks for sprinkler systems are integrated into the fire protection system.
It depends on the specific specifications; if the requirements are strict, then it is necessary to use FGS or GDS
This needs to be independent of other systems. Go with FGS or GDS. It’s pointless to do it; it doesn’t meet the standards.
Entering the GDS interlock is expensive for FGS.
