Seeking advice on whether galvanized welded or seamless steel pipes should be used for the instrument air supply lines; can welded pipes be used?

Our company is located in Xinjiang; to add a batch of pneumatic valves, galvanized seamless steel pipes are to be used for the air supply main pipes. The company that supplies this batch of goods is unwilling to ship it due to the small quantity available. Galvanized welded steel pipes are in stock. So far, no standard has been found that explicitly prohibits the use of such pipes as gas supply pipes; the maximum pressure allowed is 0.8–1 MPa. Does anyone know the answer to this?
Regarding price, if sewn steel pipes are used, the losses resulting from any issues that arise during operation will be greater than this price difference
Seamless pipes are also fully weld-sealed; the welds are completely smooth and clean. It’s just compressed air being used – there’s no need to worry at all. Besides, the entire gas pipeline is also made up of individual sections connected together, so the possible leakage points are likely to be even more numerous than there are grains of sand :P Leaks are inevitable in gas pipelines; it’s only relative when there are no leaks. Want to cause a pipe explosion due to weld defects? It’s at least three times harder than trying to say “elephant” when you’re supposed to say “tiger” or “steel pipe”. I think pipes with seams can be used without any worries.
I reason about causes and effects based on common knowledge. . . I don’t understand what it says in the standards and regulations. . .
All of them can be used. More and more people are now using stainless steel as well
I’ve also used quite a few sewn tubes, and I’ve never seen any of them leak!
Yes, it’s harder to find goods here in Xinjiang
Refer to HG/T 20510-2014, Section 8: Selection of Pipe Materials and Pipe Diameters. 8.1 Material Selection: 8.1.1 For the main pipes and trunk pipes in the gas supply system, stainless steel pipes or galvanized steel pipes can be used. 8.1.2 Stainless steel pipes are recommended for the pipes located downstream of the gas source ball valve.
The gas supply pipeline is simply meant to provide the valve with the necessary operating pressure; it is sufficient to ensure that the welding is of good quality and that there is a proper seal. We have previously used PU hoses as air supply pipes as well.
Generally, those with seams are used; those who can afford it opt for seamless ones. If you find it troublesome, just weld stainless steel directly.
