Who knows its manufacturer, principle, and name?
Taking a photo of the nameplate – it must be hard to guess from that, right?
It must be a flow meter; it looks quite old. It can display both the instantaneous flow rate and the cumulative flow rate. There is a row of knobs on the part related to the cumulative flow rate, which are likely used to reset that value.
I guess it’s an elliptical gear flow meter with setting functions. The red button or switch is the valve on the pipeline. The specific functions of each button are not entirely clear, but they should be similar to what was mentioned above.
