Do newly installed flammable and toxic alarms require a first calibration? What is the basis? The company has newly installed a batch of combustible and toxic gas detectors, all of which are new. Are they subject to inspection?
Further testing is required; generally, the calibration of alarms is not authorized to the manufacturing plants. If the manufacturer does not provide a certificate for mandatory testing, the sample must be sent for testing.
