A mass flow meter is used to measure the flow rate of lubricating oil. After the extraction pump stops, the flow meter still shows a reading, but no alarm is triggered. What’s going on?
Do you mean the instantaneous flow value or the cumulative flow value? It’s completely normal for the cumulative flow value to exist.
Has the displayed value changed? If there is no change, it should be the cumulative amount
Configure > Manual Setup > Measurements > Flow > Mass Flow Cutoff
1. Please tell me the normal range of flow variation when the pump is operating. 2. Does the flow rate display in the reverse direction after the pump stops? 3. Is there vibration? 4. Try turning off the flow meter or the pump outlet valve before shutting down the pump; if such operation is not allowed, then shut down the pump and immediately close the valve to see if there is still any flow. 5. Explore on your own.
