The last edit to this post was made by tiandiyi*an on 2018-1-23 at 13:39. The electromagnetic flowmeter was installed vertically, with straight pipe sections in place; it was tested using water. After about twenty minutes, its reading suddenly returned to zero. Powering it off and restarting it restored normal operation, during which time the water kept flowing.
First, check whether there is a guarantee, whether the minimum flow requirement is met, whether the cutoff at low flow levels is too severe, whether the grounding is proper, and whether the flow meter electrodes are contaminated
If it’s a new table, it’s necessary to check the power supply; moreover, there may be problems with the circuit board of the flow meter itself, which requires replacement and testing, such as the power board or the signal board. Poor grounding causes interference, leading to abnormal fluctuations that do not return to zero.
The small-signal cutoff value might be set too high. If the small-signal cutoff value is 40 L/h, then when the water flow rate is less than 40 L/h, the value will reset to zero, indicating that the flow rate is too low at that time and thus it is excluded from consideration.
Thank you all, the issue has been resolved.
I’ve encountered similar problems before; could you please advise on how this one was resolved
The small-signal cutoff value was changed, and the grounding was redone.
