I would like to ask everyone: in the description of the function block outputs in CS3000, there are position-type outputs and speed-type outputs. What does a speed-type output mean? In what situations is it used? Additionally, does output clamping mean that when the MV output exceeds the MH value or falls below the ML value, the MV state changes to CLP+ or CLP-? Thank you

For general position-type outputs, it is necessary to select tracking during configuration, while this is generally not required for incremental types. The meanings of CLP+ and CLP- are basically correct. But at the same time, when MV=MH or MV=ML, the module displays CLP+ or CLP, indicating that the output MV has been clamped at MH or ML.
Oh, thanks to jlshnlhj upstairs for the answer! Do you mean “measurement tracking” by tracking? It has 3 options: man, aut, and cnd, as well as cas and cnd. We usually choose yes for cas and cnd, and no for the first two options. Does it mean that SP tracks PV when it is set to man (or aut, cas, etc.)? Or is it the superior’s MV tracking the subordinate’s CAS IN (CSV)?

Generally, terminal connection and output tracking are set automatically by default; for position-type outputs, it is sufficient to pay attention to them during configuration. Measurement tracking is SP tracking PV (within this module). Output tracking is the CAS IN (CSV) under MV tracking (between preceding and following stages). What you said is that the output tracking between the terminals of hierarchical function blocks is automatically set by default, and no special configuration is required, right? But when the CSV value of a lower-level functional block is being tracked by an upper-level functional block, how does the upper-level functional block reverse-calculate the MV value of that lower-level functional block and then pass it on to an even higher-level functional block? Is it \"output inversion\"? SP tracking is generally used when switching from manual to automatic mode to prevent sudden changes in output. So, for the measurement tracking in the PID block, it should be set to ‘man’, right? But I’ve seen that many people don’t select this option; even the default setting isn’t chosen. Individual modules are slightly different. Also, for Yokogawa’s IM materials, don’t rely on the Chinese version – the translations are inaccurate and can lead you astray.
