Everyone, how can we tell whether an axial flow fan is drawing air in or blowing it out? Usually, we can tell the direction by feeling the strength of the wind, but this time it’s really impossible to tell; with the fan running forward or backward, which one corresponds to the situation of drawing air in as shown in the diagram? Generally, the side of the fan blade is the air inlet, while the side of the motor is the air outlet.
Counterclockwise direction means exhaust air outward; this can be seen from the angle of the blades
