In quantitative loading, a mass flow meter with an accuracy of 0.15 grade and a range of 40 T was seen. It has a gravimetric accuracy of grade 0.02 and a weighing range of 100 T. If the car is fully loaded, the mass measured by the mass flow meter will definitely differ from the mass indicated by the scale, due to differences in accuracy. Then what’s the point of using a mass flow meter? Isn’t it more accurate to simply use the scale for measurement? Is the mass flow meter meant for reference only?
Mass flow meters are primarily used for quantitative control, and settlement should be based on the floor scale.
Mass flow meters are also used for loading trains; weighing is not carried out, so the measurement can only be based on the mass flow meter. Isn’t that obviously inaccurate?
At a precision of 0.15, with 0.0005 g/cc following it, what does that mean?
The quantitative filling system primarily addresses the issues of overfilling or underfilling, preventing excessive variations. Floor scales are used for measurement and serve as the basis for the final settlement. Therefore, the accuracy of the flow meter used for filling control does not need to be very high; if measurement is no longer required, a higher level of accuracy is needed.
Does it mean that the precision can reach these levels at densities above this value?
The flow rate should preferably remain within the measurement range of the flow meter. The advantage of a mass flow meter lies in its precision and real-time performance, while the advantage of a load cell is its ability to measure the weight of vehicles along with high precision.
Weighbridges use static measurement; their theoretical precision is at the ten-thousandth level, with little additional error. Flowmeters perform dynamic measurement, with a theoretical accuracy of the thousandth level; moreover, this theoretical accuracy does not take into account errors that occur at low flow rates. There are so many flowmeters used for small-signal rejection – do you know why not? Because, as their dogs say, they aren’t capable of measuring accurately; since they can’t do it properly, they cut off the tail completely. Then they dress up as women to deceive you, to trick you into having sex with them. Hehe, get it? The accuracy of flowmeters refers to the accuracy within their measurement range; the zero-cut point is generally outside this range, and therefore does not affect the accuracy.
