The target flow meters produced by my factory utilize the latest type of capacitive force sensor as the measuring and sensing element; they also incorporate the latest digital and microelectronic technologies. These are intelligent flow meters suitable for measuring fluids and gases with high viscosity, low Reynolds numbers, and those containing small particles. The use of capacitive force sensors in intelligent target flowmeters is the key to enabling these devices to achieve high precision and high stability. Intelligent target flowmeters possess the advantage of having no moving parts, as is the case with traditional flowmeters such as orifice plates and vortex flowmeters. They also offer measurement accuracy comparable to that of volumetric flowmeters. Additionally, thanks to their unique resistance to interference and impurities, they can not only replace conventional flowmeters for measuring fluid flow but also prove to be highly useful in situations where flow measurement is challenging, such as in conditions involving high viscosity, prone clogging, high temperatures, high pressures, or strong corrosive environments. The new generation of intelligent target-type flow meters integrate functions for measuring flow rate, temperature, and pressure. They utilize advanced microcontroller technology and capacitive force sensors; having no moving parts, they are resistant to vibration and impurities as well as various types of interference. They feature simple operation, easy installation, maintenance-free operation, self-diagnosis capabilities, and low operating costs. It has been widely used in the measurement of the following media, resolving long-standing challenges in flow measurement within the industry. Such as semi-water gas, coke oven gas measurement, heavy oil, residue oil measurement, asphalt, liquid paraffin, toluene, sulfuric acid, natural gas, methyl chlorides, flue gas, chlorine, wastewater, pure water, and other special media. Working principle of the intelligent target-type flow meter: When the fluid flows through the measurement tube, its kinetic energy creates a pressure difference with the target plate, resulting in a force acting on the target plate that causes it to move slightly. The magnitude of this force is proportional to the square of the fluid flow velocity. The force exerted on the target plate is transmitted through the target rod, causing a slight change in the elastomer of the sensor, thereby disrupting the balance of the bridge formed by the surface-mounted capacitors. A voltage signal corresponding to the force exerted by the flow rate on the target plate is generated: influenced by the characteristics of the fluid flow rate, the flow rate is proportional to the square of the voltage generated by the bridge. Target-type intelligent flow meters are now widely used in various fields such as steel, petroleum, natural gas, power generation, papermaking, chemicals, energy, food, and environmental protection for flow measurement.
