After purchasing the electromagnetic flowmeter, the next step is its installation on-site. To ensure stable and reliable operation of the electromagnetic flowmeter, the following considerations should be taken into account when selecting the installation location: 1. Try to avoid ferromagnetic objects as well as devices with strong electromagnetic fields (such as large motors and large transformers), so as to prevent the magnetic field from affecting the working magnetic field of the sensor and the flow signal. 2. It should be installed in a dry and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and rain. The ambient temperature should range from -20 to +60°C, with a relative humidity of less than 85%. 3. There should be sufficient space around the flow meter to facilitate installation and maintenance.

Taking the above suggestions into account, there are a few additional points to note: 1. The diameter of the pipeline should remain consistent; pay attention to the requirements for straight sections before and after it； 2. Pay attention to grounding ； 3. It should be installed at a low position in the process pipeline to ensure that the medium fills the pipe completely. In principle, the electromagnetic flowmeter should also be filled with medium after parking.
