Regarding the installation of a glass gauge for water level on a boiler, is there any problem with using an extension tube to position it further away from the water level outlet on the boiler drum? Will condensation occur, affecting the liquid level?
It’s better to keep it as close as possible, as this reduces the temperature difference in the flush level gauge, which is beneficial for the equipment’s lifespan and enhances safety. The liquid level has an impact, but it is not significant.
It’s about 1.5 meters now – is it a significant impact on the liquid level port of the boiler drum?
