A natural gas flow meter is a very common type of flow meter; its existence has brought great convenience to the measurement industry and trade settlement, and it is indeed a highly practical flow meter. 1. Inner wall deposit layer: Natural gas flow meters need to be used in many environments with suspended particles or debris, and as a result they suffer more damage compared to other types of instruments. Deposits easily form on the inner walls, and if these are not removed over time, they can affect the proper functioning of the natural gas flow meter. 2. Lightning strike: If a lightning strike occurs, it will enter the instrument and cause it to become loose. Lightning strikes generally enter the instrument through the power cables, sensors, and excitation wires; therefore, it is essential to take proper lightning protection measures at these locations to avoid malfunctions during use. 3. Environmental factors: If a natural gas flow meter is disturbed by new magnetic waves during use, it will be affected in its normal operation, and sometimes the output signal may experience significant fluctuations. Everyone must be careful when using it, and avoid interference from the surrounding environment. Although some of the common faults in natural gas flowmeters are unavoidable, as long as we prepare in advance, they can still operate properly without experiencing any failures. Therefore, everyone should be extra careful when using natural gas flow meters.
