This is done by shorting the two test leads together (by bringing them into direct contact), and then adjusting the \"zeroing\" mechanism so that the pointer points accurately at the \"0\" mark on the Ω scale. Only after that can the resistance value be measured. Also, be careful not to let anyone touch the ends of the resistor or the metal parts of the test leads. Otherwise, it will cause testing errors. The resistance value measured with a multimeter is close to the nominal value. It can be considered that the quality is generally good; if there is a significant difference or it doesn’t work at all, then it’s poor quality.
