Seeking help with program control issues for Siemens S7300

The Siemens S7300 system is used for wastewater control in the plant; today we received a call reporting that 2 pumps can be started locally but not remotely. Then I went in to check the program, and it works like this. Since I am not very familiar with the S7300 system, I don’t know how to control it. By setting the value of “M5.0 Sludge System Automatic” to 1 in the first program and then changing it back to 0, the pump in that first program starts operating, but it stops automatically after a while. I would like to ask how this program is controlled? Thank you all
Check whether automatic mode is selected on the operation screen and whether startup has been confirmed; it’s likely that your automatic signal has not been sent
What if both the start condition and the stop condition are not met? Then how can these two program segments work? And if it’s about start/stop conditions, shouldn’t they be under the same “manual/automatic” mode? If the auto-start/stop condition is just a pulse signal, then a pulse should be used. It would be better to use RS to denote the output point.
