Hello, dear sea friends! The medium is crushed animal bones, which are placed in a reactor for the reaction to take place. The specific parameters are as follows: the temperature in the reactor is around 150°C, while the pressure is between 3 and 5 kilograms. These conditions must be maintained for about 5 hours. The diameter of the process pipes is DN400; the valves used for control can be either on-off valves, and they can be pneumatic or electric in operation. The material of these valves should be stainless steel, with good sealing properties. For a valve like this, which type of valve would be more suitable? Thank you!
Double-sided hard-sealed ball valves can meet the requirements, but they are expensive.
Ball valves offer reliable sealing, a simple structure, easy maintenance, and a low blockage rate. The sealing surface and the ball surface remain in a closed state, making them resistant to erosion by the medium; therefore, they are worth considering
Reactor, for burning bones? ,,,,, Oh my,,,,,, Could this bone have ended up in a crematorium? Do I still need to seal it tightly with a valve before burning it? Well, it’s worth studying.

A rotary valve will do. Is it your process for extracting bone-strengthening powder?
Yes, pneumatic hard-sealed ball valves – we use those from Tyco under the polypropylene reactors in our chemical plant; it seems they cost hundreds of thousands of dollars each
Metal hard-sealed ball valve, the preferred choice.
Use hard-sealed ball valves; domestic brands such as Antway, Chaoda, and Hongsheng are all suitable.
