Can external clamp-type ultrasonic flowmeters be used in pipes made of SS316L?

As the title suggests, can an external clamping ultrasonic flow meter be used in pipes made of SS316L material? If it can be used, what are the requirements regarding the thickness of the pipes? I would be extremely grateful if an expert could give me some guidance! !
I guess so. Theoretically, there shouldn’t be any requirements regarding the material of the pipes, and I don’t think that the thickness of the pipes is a significant issue either.
It definitely can be used; the thickness of the pipes is generally not very great. Pipes with linings can also be used – one just needs to set parameters such as the pipe wall thickness and the material of the lining
