Expert advice: What are the differences between these two valves, and in which types of pipelines are they used?
They are all quick-cut valves; the type of pipeline they are used in depends on the medium present there. It’s necessary to know their technical specifications – it’s not possible to determine that just by looking at their appearance. Generally speaking, carbon steel valves are used for media such as water or brine, while stainless steel valves are used for corrosive gases, liquids, or steam
The materials of the valve seat, valve core, etc., may be different.
It’s that the wiring of the solenoid valves is different – one is connected in series while the other is in parallel. They are used in SIS systems; what are the main differences, please advise, experts?

The valve body is made of carbon steel and is equipped with a handwheel mechanism, allowing manual operation in case of a failure. Figure 2 shows the pneumatic control for the handle; the accessories are manual pneumatic modules – one 2-position 3-way and one 2-position 5-way. The 3-way module is connected to the air supply, while it is the 5-way module that enables proper control of the valve opening and closing. It is likely that this extra 3-way module was added to prevent accidental activation of the 5-way module. It also comes equipped with a handwheel mechanism, allowing manual operation in case of a failure.
