There are those that use thermocouples (these are quite common), and there are those that use thermal resistors. You can find out the rest by searching on Baidu. 1) A thermocouple is a commonly used temperature-sensing element in temperature measurement instruments. It directly measures temperature and converts the temperature signal into a thermoelectromotive force signal, which is then converted by electrical instruments (secondary instruments) into the temperature of the medium being measured. The shapes of various thermocouples can vary greatly depending on the requirements, but their basic structure is roughly the same, typically consisting of a thermal electrode, an insulating protective tube, and a terminal box. They are usually used in conjunction with display instruments, recording devices, and electronic regulators. (2) The thermal resistor is the most commonly used temperature detector in the medium and low temperature ranges. Thermistor temperature measurement is based on the property that the resistance value of a metal conductor increases as the temperature rises. Its main features are high measurement accuracy and stable performance. Among them, platinum thermoresistors have the highest measurement accuracy; they are not only widely used in industrial temperature measurement but also made into standard reference instruments. Thermistors are mostly made of pure metal materials; platinum and copper are the most commonly used ones at present. In addition, materials such as nickel, manganese, and rhodium are now being used to manufacture thermistors as well. There are various types of temperature-sensitive materials commonly used in metal thermoresistors, with platinum wire being the most widely used. In addition to platinum wire, metal thermoresistive materials used for industrial measurement include copper, nickel, iron, iron-nickel, and others.
