Could you explain what happens to the diaphragm in a diaphragm pressure gauge? I’ve always been curious whether it’s welded onto the gauge or whether it’s included as part of the gauge from the start.
The corrugated diaphragm is made by stamping out very thin sheets, as thin as paper, and then welding them to the base.
For differential pressure flange level gauges, how is the first installation and relocation carried out? If it’s not allowed during production, then how can it be handled without removing the flange? Also, why can’t the differential pressure level gauge with a pressure guiding tube be reset using 475? What’s the reason for this? The only way to display 0 is by changing the range.

During the first installation of the gauge, after verifying it, the upper and lower flanges are temporarily attached to the pressure tapping points using bolts without tightening them; thereafter, the zero setting is performed using a hand controller, and finally the bolts are tightened to complete the commissioning process.
