As the title suggests, our factory wants to install a GDS system. I would like to ask everyone: who currently produces GDS systems, both domestically and internationally? For example, Zhejiang University Zhongkong acts as an agent for Rockwell Systems. Moreover, does the GDS system require SIL certification, 3C certification, CCCF certification, or any other qualifications?
GDS should require SIS certification. **The Guidelines issued by the General Administration of Work Safety on Strengthening the Management of Chemical Process Safety Instrumented Systems state that chemical process safety instrumented systems (SIS) include safety interlock systems, emergency shutdown systems, as well as detection and protection systems for toxic and harmful gases, flammable gases, and fires.
Both Hilscher and Zhejiang Zhongkong have them. . . . . .
Hanwei Smart Security Company has a GDS system
When the GDS system is used solely for warning alarms without involving fire protection interconnection, the alarm control unit can be an independently designed electronic device based on a microprocessor, and there is no need to obtain a CCCF certification report for fire protection products. If the signals from combustible gas detectors in the GDS system are to be used for fire protection interconnection, the alarm control unit must be CCCF-certified, and the signals shall be transmitted to the fire control room.
