Does a different density of the measuring medium have an impact on the liquid level?

For a single-flange level gauge, the actual liquid level = displayed level * design density / actual density. For example, if the designed density of the material is 0.9 while the actual density is 0.8, and the DCS shows 60%, then the true liquid level = 60% * 0.9 / 0.8
