As shown in the figure, I would like to ask everyone for advice. Some computers can still run the XP operating system; is it possible to use WIN7 (10) along with a virtual machine VM to run MACS V5? Is it used like this in practice?
1. I thought the image hadn’t been uploaded. Sometimes it takes over ten days, or once a month. The issue also occurs with Server B; restarting it resolves it. I tried simulating the situation physically by disconnecting the computer’s network cable and the switch’s network cable, but the problem didn’t arise. I also replaced both Computer A and Server B – could it be related to the switch? 2. I read that clearing the data on the two servers before reinstalling might help. Does that mean reinstalling the operating system first and then downloading it again? I’d like to ask everyone for advice
After some time, it’s better to upgrade the system to MAC6
Are you running this on a virtual machine?
It’s not a VM, but I gave it a try; I’m not sure what will happen over an extended period of time. The v6 version can be used with Win7, but I don’t know how to set it up. I need to look into that. Also, can the v6 version prevent network issues?
The image isn’t clear enough; the problem isn’t with the server, right? It must be related to the communication process between the controller and the card cage
It shouldn’t be an issue with the connection from the CPU to the switch. Normally, if there’s a problem with the network, all relevant wires will turn red; however, it’s not possible to simulate such a situation using a physical device, and only this one wire turning red indicates a fault. I plan to reinstall the software on several devices to thoroughly clean everything up, including any viruses
If they have all been replaced, there should be no problems. Check for high loads or network storms, as well as whether computer management is inadequate; look for any viruses. Copy the system logs and contact HollySys for assistance – they will likely recommend that you replace them
