Can Party A request that the two interfaces of the double-flange differential pressure level gauge be welded vertically to the upper and lower heads of the vertical storage tank? Is this feasible? :'(

There’s no problem above; Do not do this below unless the medium is very clean. The sediment in the tank will “clog” the flange. If it must be installed directly below, a short vertical pipe can be used, with a tee connected to it and the flanges mounted on the side. A condensate guide valve can be installed below the riser.
It has to be on the end cap; both 1 and 2 have been used, but the second option suffers from poor stress distribution at the transition section of the end cap. Use the second one when it’s really unavoidable. It is best to set it within an 80% range of the diameter.
No, this requirement does not meet the specifications; it is not acceptable either at the top or at the bottom. Everyone has good intentions; whether to listen or not depends on the original poster and that client. But if it is as described by the original poster, it is indeed difficult to maintain
