I study craftsmanship, and I would like to ask everyone: what is the white part in the picture? What is its function?
If I’m not mistaken, this is a two-position five-way solenoid valve; its main function is to control the direction of the air flow and thus drive the cylinder in different directions. The black one next to it is the electromagnetic coil, which operates under an excitation voltage of 24V.
You upstairs must be mistaken. This is clearly a three-way five-port solenoid valve. On the right is the air supply inlet pipe. On the left are two exhaust pipes. The direction of the gas is controlled by this solenoid valve. What are you doing by removing a coil? Is it broken?
